    The bios version 1.06 caused grainy display issues on some T60 models. Now there is a new bios which fixes the grainy display problem. But it comes with a price. It seems that several users including me experience a strange video effect upon returning from standby or hibernate. Is this only happening on T60s, or on the T60p, as well. I did some googling, and it sounds like the grainy display issue only affected T60s with the 14.1" display.

    Can anyone confirm this, or at least confirm that they're not seeing these issues using BIOS 1.06 or 1.07 on a T60p w/15" FlexView?

    <sigh>

    I had finally decide to pull the trigger on a T60p, and now this!
