just got a t61p, and, after just one use, the ac adapter stopped working. on top of it all, control panel crashes everytime i load it up (i've been running it on battery / with my roommate's ac adapter). anybody else experience faulty adapters? to be honest, i expected the lag and hangups with regards to vista (who doesn't?), but the ac adapter thing caught me off guard. of all parts you would think lenovo would test to ensure durability/workability, the ac adapter? come on, lenovo, get your act together.

Sounds like something isn't right, mine works perfectly and I am pleasantly happy with the level of service from Lenovo at this point. I would definitely call up Tech Support and get it resolved.

" i expected the lag and hangups with regards to vista (who doesn't?)"

I've had a Lenovo 3000 N100 with Vista Business and a t61p with 32 and 64 bit vista. I have never had one lag, hangup or bsod in seven months.

I've used Vista on my desktop for about 15 months now, and I don't have lags and hangups.
