    At checkout the tax estimates for $3000 dollars!!! in Florida, Tax is .07 on the dollar, what could be causing this problem? The total should only be 980.

    yeah, my order was messed up too. $103 of tax for a total of $654. And because of this, I also lost my 2 business days shipping. Darn!

    Me too! Mine showd tax of $3500 on a $1200 T61. I did NOT place the order.

    Lenovo appears to have one of the worst order entry/inventory control systems I have experienced on the internet. What is really scary is I want to buy one of their computers. :(

    Lenovo put the wrong sales tax for me (Massachusetts is 5%). $1,411.16 should be $70.56, not $68.48. Hmmm, well at least I didn't get screwed over like some of you.
