Did anyone notice? I don't care for it though. When configuring a system it defaults to the "Wizard" view like Dell and HP which I find more difficult to navigate.

    Just sayin'. :p

I noticed it this weekend Roger, at first I did not like it but now that I have used it a few times I find it more professional and slick looking....plus it shows the products nicely. I think they did a nice job. I give it a thumbs up.

Seems like Lenovo is letting Dell and HP do the up front R&D on successful pc configuration web interface and then copying it. So long as they don't do that with their laptop design approach it's all good, I think most people and especially non-techies prefer a wizard style user friendly interface. They're using AJAX nicely and I didn't get too much delay when moving from one interface to the next so kudos. However, with all the peripheral upsell stuff (external keyboard, extra adapter etc.) it took about 40 clicks if you don't skip steps so they may want to make it more obvious how to just skip through screens and just buy the darn laptop otherwise it could result in a lot of abandoned carts. I'd suggest a giant red button that says "NO THANKS I'M DONE CONFIGURING LET ME JUST SKIP TO THE BILLING INFO SCREEN NOW" :D

Something that I noticed was that some of the pictures are off. If you go to the Y series they show pictures of the Y450. As far as I know you can't buy the y450 directly from Lenovo anymore. I can't believe that they don't have y460 and y560 lying around somewhere.
