    I couldn't give a crap less about the variety of lies and BS on some stupid blog. They are no closer to reality that the lies we hear from CS.

    Not sure if this post is really from tim supples at all.
    But the members complaints make a long list on the bottom.

    Not to mention some newspaper articles - Lenovo becomes sadly famous for their insane phone support waiting time and delivery delays.

    As I said in another post, this is not up to the US standards I was expecting from buying a premium type of laptop.
    this isn't either a business grade service, Dell is much better in this area...actually maybe anobody is, Lenovo isn't IBM for sure.

    Well I hope that the T61 I am waiting for which is my first Lenovo is worth it otherwise I promise to dedicate 2 hours/day for 1 year complaining on every forum or blog in this galaxy.

    Ok you've got it now....people hate to wait, I hate to wait.

    he promises to update frequently, but it's often weeks between updates, and he doesn't respond to Q's

    how on earth can the shipping problems STILL be going on ?!?!?!?!

    Easy... new product = new problems. They may have corrected issues on the 'other' brands of ThinkPads, but of course when you add something new into the mix, there's always that lovely possibility of that addition causing problems.

    And lo' and behold... here we wait, because of it.

    It's a LAPTOP. They've been around a while. They have pretty much the exact same parts as every laptop ever made. Networking, Chassis, screen, keyboard, ports, internal parts. It's not like they're building something new. Just because it's a new revision doesn't mean their entire PROCESS has to go to crap like it has.

    The thing is they make thinkpad too affordable. They should make thinkpad $3000+, then there won't be much delay.

    Yeah, it's definitely affordable. It's as much as a really POS and not very customizable HP, which is sad. If HP actually would charge what it should, like $800 instead of 1200, it might be a different situation

    It's probably got not much to do with affordable, more that their supply ordering system glitched and allowed us all to order T61p's that could not be shipped for some technical default reason.

    thats weird because didnt Timmy have all the answers back when the **** first hit the fan? Why are they still finding the answers now? Just more delay tactics...and as Lenovos #1 fan mentions...more smoke

    i'm aware that shipping delays happen
    but they dealt witih them terribly
    lying to customers, changing shipping dates every week
    promising, etc...
    it was a huge mess, and i'll likely not order from them again

    What delays are they specifically referring to? T61p delays? T61 15.4" 140M delays? All of the above?

    It's pretty bad that three months ago when the T61 came out, they were having to rebook orders due to an internal error. And not just a week ago the exact same thing happened. It makes me wonder whether Lenovo is capable of handling their internal order problems.

    it doesnt mention the 15.4 inch or the t61p specifically. this is no use the majority of us..but thanx man for effort.
