Beginner here uneasy about doing a clean install on my new SL510 with Lenovo factory Win XP Pro OS . I have alread Revo uninstalled most of the Microsoft Office stuff and Norton Virus and a few others. Would somebody paste the list below into a reply with a quick description and DELETE? or KEEP recommendation? I expect some of these may be part of Win XP operating system. I have done a search here for this and not found a useful list for a beginner. Thanks in advance.

Are all keepers because you will end up downloading and reinstalling them at some point. Always downloading something a lazy programmer relying on the framework wrote.

Will probably get reinstalled by something, seen several games and a few peices of software install em, their needed for something.
Im pretty sure getting rid of MSXML will effect u in some way or another. Will popup in windows update again for sure. -
I don't believe Power Manager is tied to the Toolbox - it's a separate program. Also, you may want to keep Lenovo's System Update, since that makes finding the correct drivers for your machine far, far easier, despite the clunky interface.

keep power manage and system update.
List of software to uninstall. Any keepers here??
