I love my new T61...but a few questions on logging in...

Is there any way to login with just a fingerprint reader? I know that if you don't have a password setup windows does an autologin, but if you put it on standby you have to login w/ the fingerprint reader.

Could I make the initial login like the resuming from standby login? And if so, how?

Why not just create a password on your account? Then your fingerprint software will be forced to kick in on the initial boot.
