Hi, I have a T40 that came stock with the short heatsink. I was wondering if the long heatsink will work with this T40? Reason is I'm starting to get fan errors on bootup occaisionally so this is usually a case of stuck fan. I cleaned the old one and WD-40 a little but still get error occaisionally. If the long fan assambly will fit and work correctly in place of the short fan wouldn't that be better? Price difference for new is only a couple of bucks.
