Hey guys, I have been doing some reading here but I am looking for definitive answers. I've lurked NBR for a while, but this is my first post.

So I need a laptop for my older brother, he wants something portable, but powerful with a decent battery life. How is the portability and battery life of the Y470? Is it actually only 4 hours? Are there any available extended capacity batteries? I've tried to find ones on Lenovo's website but haven't had any luck.

Finally, if anyone could reccomend a laptop similar to the Y470 in terms of spec, or even one superior, I'd be much obliged.

I'm looking at the quad core version just fyi. Thanks.
