My system is downgraded from Vista to XP Pro (OEM bought from school) but Lenovo wants to charge me $50 for the Recovery Disks for a new license essentially. I would like to change the hidden partition to XP Pro but is not possible without the Recovery Disks.

Would anyone like to make a copy of their X61/X61s XP Pro Recovery Disks if it isn't licensed to a single machine? This basically means when you used the Recovery Disks to install XP and Windows did not ask you to activate the OS, then you have some type of Volume License Key, which can be installed on multiple systems. I'll gladly pay $20 for these disks. Thanks.
