May I know what is the different between R, T & Z model? Built quality over this 3 series. Thanks in advance.

T series and Z series are considered to be of the highest quality..some say T is better..some say Z is better.

R series is considered not of as high quality..compared to the T and Z, but compared to other brands it has a much better build quality.

The T is their flagship, Z is more consumer oriented, R is more affordable but not quite as portable. In my humble opinion it is not worth getting a thinkpad unless it's a T or X. Aside from those I would probably go with Asus or even Apple.

Right now the T is a great deal (ends today though)

    T serie:
Flagship models built for business professionals. Thinner and lighter but have less port options (no card reader, firewire, and s-video out)

    R serie:
Budget version of the T serie. Thicker and heavier.

    Z serie:
Widescreen and more multimedia oriented (have the ports unavailable for T serie). Z61t is thin and light but doesn't have dedicated graphic card option. Z61m /p have higher-end graphic card option but is much heavier.

Wide screen T60 is also available
