This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    The RTM of 8.1 has been available for months and only now is Lenovo in the planning stages of releasing a vBIOS update...

    The VBIOS update was released in China last week. BIOS 2.04, which is necessary to have installed for the VBIOS to update, has been available for months If you're Google savvy, you're no more than 15 minutes away from getting it to work.
