My wireless capability seems to be automatically shutting off every 5 minutes. I assume this is a battery conservation setting, but I can't find where to change it. It doesn't seem to be under battery management. halp.

Is that in XP? I'm using Vista. It doesn't appear to be in power manager.

will this work? try and let us know!

"It is an advanced setting in the Thinkpad Power profile.

Go to Power Options. Edit Thinkpad profile, go to advanced options and look for wireless radio. Click the option to ensure it's set for Maximum Performance."
