Have you reinstalled the hotkeys driver?

One person suggested installing the thinkvantage utility for the networking, and then uninstall. It has been suggested that, that will get back the networking Fn key functionality.

for those to work you need the hotkey utility. then, most of the drivers come with utility programs, so you need both installed. for example - wireless driver and wireless utility, LAN driver and LAN utility, trackpoint driver and trackpoint utility. Easyeject is for the FN+F9 function, install it, it's small and doesn't hurt system performance ..

you don't need the keyboard customizer utility.

I did a clean XP install, and can't be happier. I downloaded all necessary driver from the lenovos website, and made my own XP installation CD from the i386 folder on the hard drive. Search for my post about "how to make a bootable XP Pro CD for clean install" .

    good luck
