First, I charge my battery to 80% maximum...
    My computer: Lenovo g560,
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 370 @ 2.40GHz - A good processor
Memory RAM 2GB - I have windows 7 ultimate 64bit, im not sure if 2bg is enough...
Intel HD Graphics graphics/video card - I know it not good but I dont play intensive games on my laptop...

when I am on battery with no programs open open(right after turning on my laptop),no wifi, I can get 2 hr 40 mins. This is on "Super Energy Saver".
2hrs and 45 mins is very good for a 6-cell battery, I know because I searched the internet and found that its normal, if not the best.
The problem is that when I turn on wifi, open some programs, and change the Energy Management to "High Performance" mode to actually be able to work battery runtime goes down to 1hr30mins to 1hr45mins, even 1hr 00mins.

only 1 hour and a half?

What's wrong, or is it normal, is this really the normal battey runtime?

I am so angry that I'm thinking about buying at least 3 more replacement batteries to have up to 3 hours of battery runtime..

On Super Energy Saver I cant even run a simple game like "Risk 2" to play with my friends!!!
For example, when I run the game, in the start menu there are the lighting effects on each button, you know, that lighting effect that you see when you hover with your mouse. It actually happens on High Perfocrmance too , so I dont know,

anyway, why is runtime to short?

    IMO it is normal.
You cant expect to have good battery life when doing "intensive" work on budget laptop like G560.

    Why? isnt my laptop good?
    What do you mean?

what other laptops would you suggest to have more battery runtime?
I think you are mistaken, its not my computer, its the battery, the 6-cell battery that is the problem, I could get more if I bought the 9-cell battery.

Please say im right. I have paid alot for this laptop.

Your battery may be bad or you have programs running in the background eating up the battery life.(Anti-Virus or like program.) This site did a review and they got 4 hours of battery life out of it under light use. Open up the task manager to see if there are programs running that you don't want.(Make sure they're not important to Windows though as doing that restarts your computer.)

vēer didn't say your computer is bad. Usually lower end models get parts that under perform.

Maybe they have gotten 4 hours when computer was on standby

    let me see the link...

I have 2 gb ram, and when turned on it is 980MB then after some opened programs it reaches to 1.37-1.75

Anyway, I saw the hardware comopontents mentioned there arent the same as mine because they have 4GB of memory and I have 2GB, and there are more...
    So its not mine.
and maybe they ended every processes when checking battery life to get 4 hrs
    I have 83 processes now
