    Im really excited this will be my first Think Pad, my last computer a Sony SZ, had been in the repair shop 4 times.

    sometimes, Thinkpad have to repair too but you will be sure because their warranty is so long and easy if you buy more warranty with on-site. however, thinkpad was named enduring laptop so you don't worry about it. welcome!! to join with Thinkpad :)

    Interesting caveat! Have you written out a comparison between a ThinkPad and an EliteBook - like a record of your comparative experience? If yes, can you link us to it? If not, could you summarize (probably in a new thread) the comparison and share your reasons for preferring the Elitebook to the ThinkPad?
