Still considering the choice of buying off Ebay (from apparently well known seller
thinkpadworld) T43 that is covered by IBM Global Financing warranty (whihc is valid within US only - correct me if I'm wrong) followed by 3 years Mack Computer International warranty.
Did someone dealt with Mack ? I would especially be interested in those who applied Mack warranty outside US for his/her Thinkpad brought from US.
Just would like to check whether Mack indeed works as advertised:
once user needs service - he appeals to IBM authorized service and obtains a quote for the repair. Then he forwards this quote to Mack and upon Mack's approval the repair is accomplished and then the lab either gets paid by Mack directly or laptop owner pays the repair and gets reimbrused by Mack.
So I'd like to know whether they are trutworthy (Mack international warranty) and worth considering.
Thanks in advance, Alex
