Maintenance Question

Is there a feature on the T61 to allow the computer Turn On at night and do lets a a disk clean up and defragment on it own then shutdown without me doing any of these tasks? I saw something about the Away manager feature, would that be the one to use?

I don't know if there's a lenovo software feature, but you can set up those tasks in Windows. Task Scheduler is what you want.

 

and it would do it automaticaly? as in it would turn on teh computer and shut down after operation?

 

Well you have to set it up that way, but yeah.
