This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I hate this icon and want it gon !!!

    How can i remove the BT icon from my desktop ???

    I know you can remove it using TweakUI... there might be an easier way though...

    Which OS are you using?
    In Vista, go to control panel-> Bluetooth Devices ->Option. Uncheck the "Show Bluetooth icon in the notifications area.

    In XP ,right click the icon and select hide bluetooth icon. (Correct me if i remembered wrongly).
