The official spec sheet doesn't specify ram speed for the x220t. Some forum users have claimed to put 1866 ram into an x220 and say its blazing fast.
Can anyone confirm the max ram speed an x220t will recognize? (i5 2520 if it matters).

Because the x220_ are not offered the quad core Sandy Bridge processors, you are essentially capped at 1333 MHz DDR3. Only the quad core i7s will get you 1600 MHz support.

a little off topic but the highest supported ram clock speed is 1600Mhz for the intel i7 line(the quad cores). Why did kingston come up with an 1866Mhz ram for laptops?
