Is the MAX RAM capacity for the current t60p 4gb??

I have been hearing something about 3gb limit for 32-bit systems. I have no clue whats the difference between 32bit and 64bit systems.

Also, lenovo offers 4gb ram 533mhz in their page.

Not sure, the max for the T61 as a Santa Rosa system should be 4GB, but not sure about the T60.

The previous Intel chipset I think maxed out at 3GB.

4gb is useable though 1gb is resererved for kernal/bios etc only 3gb is used/seen by windows. It can be extended though via the above KB from MS.
