MaxBright was the 300nit 15.4 1280x800 screen they offered on the Z61M. It's no longer an option. As somebody who was considering a Lenovo for the solid build quality and excellent keyboard but who would use it for primarily entertainment purposes, this was a key selling point and a total deal breaker if it really is gone for good.
I remember reading a few weeks ago that Sony bought IDTech. IDTech is the company that was providing the MaxBright screen to Lenovo. -
It was also available for the Z60m.

I just called and confirmed that it will no longer be offered. That takes Lenovo off the table for me. Peace.
