Can someone post the specs for the fastest RAM I can use with a T43? The Lenovo parts section lists only one type, PC4200.

    Thanks.

The T43 has a Pentium M processor, which only supports up to PC4200. Anything faster will downclock to those speeds.

Thanks, that's very good to know, as many people out there are sellig 5300 for the T43.

How many of the other specs should I care about when shopping for two 1 GB sticks? Here is a sample ad:

The specs that catch my attention are

PC2-4200 - Thanks for the answer on this
    CL4 - Best option?
    DDR2 - Best option?
    SODIMM - only option?
for ThinkPad 73P3844 - a very specific model number, but I assume this example probably appplies to all T43s.

Thanks, I realize these questions are RAM 101.
