Hi All,
I have one more question.
R500 is considered Basic Computing whereas T500 is Business Computing.
Well, I am not sure what this means.
I saw the specification and the only difference is T500 has better system graphic with ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 with 256MB.
Looks like T500 is better choice for video game or graphic intensive application.
I am using for software programming (more Database intensive) application.
I am kind of confusing. what they mean by "business application"?
Business application is more database application, but don't find any.
I see only difference is T500 has better graphic and lighter than R500.
any comment is appreciated.
Thanks.

Its just a generic way of saying this tends to be a litte more focused on business users/applicationsversus something like a home user that just might do a little web surfing, email, chat and etceterathats all. If you want a better video card, simply get one and ignore the marketing shpiel.

ignore the marketing BS. the copywriter doesn't know what he's talking about. if it looks like a flower, smells like a flower, attracts bees and makes girls happy, then, you bloody well don't have a turnip in your hand, geddit?
check out what applications or games u wanna play and buy accordingly. -
I can't do real work on a lesser laptop like Dell. They're suitable for social networking but it's not a man's laptop.
When I get my hands on my thinkpad it becomes serious business. The lights dim and everyone mans their battlestations. Tense music begins playing softly in the background. -

The T500 is slightly higher class, and business users are generally willing to pay a bit more for quality. At the core both are very similar (same keyboard, chipset, etc.). The T500 is thinner, lighter, offers switchable graphics, a WSXGA+ screen, and other amenities. If you don't need these options, the R500 is perfectly acceptable (both are still ThinkPads).
