    Microsoft Patch causing problems?

    I did windows update yesterday and installed these two patches:

    Had trouble running some programs and connectivity. System restore point took care of it. Anyone seeing this or news of it?

    I performed the same two updates and the only change I've noticed so far is my boot up time has increased. One of the updates if remember correctly had something to with bitlocker.

    Same here on a home system and a thinkpad T61p and I've had no problems.

    My T61 run fine on all recent patch update but strangely, my Desktop went BSOD after a patch update simply by surfing the net and posting on Facebook. After the BSOD, another patch happens to appear on Windows Update and after installation, no more BSODs so far. Strange huh....

    Ive forgotten the exact patch update but will post it up once I get home.

    Well, my same problems re-appeared a day later after doing the restore point. I have not reinstalled the patches. So something else is likely going on. :(
