Another member stated he was not able to install the patches on his Vista 64 setup. I'm going to wait a couple of days and see how it pans out.

It's funny how people make things so sensational. If they were EMERGENCY UPDATES they would be posted on Windows/Microsoft Update. They're not. I installed them on a desktop and it really snazzed up Vista's network and copying. FWIW, I had my network die randomly coming out of sleep(call me a greenie) but it works great after the non-beta patch(the link posted refers to the beta patches... Microsoft has released the finals now) I can also attest to the fact that it copies files WAY faster now. God I love a real update.
