    Okay...pictures of an x200s.

Did you purchase one? How about writing some thoughts?

During the Battery Eater Pro test the CPU was under full load with 3D graphics turned up so the battery life was a little shorter.
If set to cinema mode, the X200s runs for around 2 hours and 30 minutes, so battery life is above average.

Once again, I've used my Spyder 2 calibrator to come up with a color calibration file for all X200s users.

OK, you can use thumbnails, which makes it a much a more pleasant experience for those clicking on your thread. Some of use are still on 768k DSL.

No, it's makes it a PITA for all of us with a fast connection.

If you still have a slow connection you can abort the loading and copy/past the links one by one

Can you also come up with a AFFS+ 1440x900 panel? :D

because a TN is still crap, no matter how much lipstick (calibration) you put on it.

Good luck with that one. I'd recommend either the tablet, or the "Flexview mod" for the x200. However, in both cases you'll only get WXGA.

Actually, that calibration profile will only apply to the x200 and the subset of x200s with WXGA CCFL screen (the WXGA+ LED will need a different profile).

    well done, thanks!

very thorough, pictures speaks more than a thousand words.. or the saying goes anyway.

why has it got a celeron sticker and CPU-ID also says that it is a celeron processor?

isn't the X200s meant to be more expensive than the X200? isn't celeron supposed to be the budget processor with less efficiency and slower.

how come its the core solo? is it a new model?

    i saw 2 processors benchmarked. a SU9300 and a SU3300.

is SU9300 a single core? CPUID reporting that it is a celeron 723 with 1 core @.@

I believe those Celerons are the models that use even less energy then the SU C2D's, but you trade in a huge amount of performance.

His particular x200s is a cost reduced model, they've been offering it that way for a few months. It has a ULV Single Core Celeron w/ very little cache. TDP should be lower, but power usage may not be (I don't think Celeron's have as many power saving states as a proper C2D).
