    Would you get a 2729EAU 15.4" Notebook: midbright (200nit) at 1680x1050 resolution OR a 2529R3U 15.4" Notebook: maxbright (300nit) at 1280x800 resolution?

I hear the 1680 will seem sharper, that movies may look better on the 1680, and that 1680-midbright looks as bright as a 1280 Maxbright. If that's true I will put up with super small icons, etc (which I don't like) due to the resolution .
