does anybody know why my power manager gauge is missing from the task bar of my t400? i am using windows xp right now. the power manager gauge was there from the time i installed it (clean install of windows last week) until now. i think it disappeared either because i installed a new program that conflicted with several of my programs (but i have since gotten rid of it) or because i had to force reboot by holding the power button. in any case, the gauge never showed up again. i need and want this gauge in my task bar. i rebooted several times, and i even uninstalled and reinstalled both "thinkpad power manager" and "thinkpad power manager driver". then i reinstalled both, and rebooted again, but the gauge is still missing. please help! must i reinstall windows for such a simple but irritating problem?

sorry, i forgot to mention that the box "Show Power Manager Gauge in task bar" is already checked (this seems to be an obvious solution, but it dosen't work). it does nothing. even if i uncheck it, then recheck it, it still does nothing.
