My bought this wired laptop in China, and I brought it to UK till now. The system has to be reinstalled. But I can not recover it with the ThinkPad. They have not given me any disc for my system installation and recovery.
I know my hidden partition is ok,and I am sure my hd is also without any demage.

However, when the f11 guided me to begin the recovering process, there are these words appear: Missing Operation System.

I know it may be caused by the change of the original MBR, which occured after an empolyee of that IBM store reparticioning the HDD.

Someone told me to download "rnr31_rrd.exe" at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-54483 My god! Where can I find a diskette? The R60 even does not have a diskette dirve!!!

What shall I do if i want to install the original system? Please give me the detail.

    Thank you.

You bought your laptop in China. Does it come with an international warranty? If it does, you can give your local IBM service center a call.
