I did a fresh reinstall of Vista Home Premium 64-bit on my notebook. I got everything else, but there is a device missing a driver. It's "PCI Memory Controller". Hardware ID is "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_444&SUBSYS_444E8086". No idea what this device 444 is.

Try reinstalling the Chipset Driver.

Tried that. Didn't work.
Any way to find out what this Device 444 is? -
Monday morning bump.

Can you also post the location of the missing device please?

I gathered from the other thread that this was the turbo memory. I had downloaded the drivers but apparently not installed them.
Anyway, thanks very much. -
