Mobile Broadband Connect T61

I've had my T61 for awhile now, but never had occasion to try and use the Verizon Mobile Broadband that came preinstalled. Tried to fire it up today, but couldn't get it to work. I opened the ThinkVantage Access Connections, chose Mobile Broadband and got a message "The wireless WAN card is not activated. Do you want to activate it?" I chose yes and got the message "Please install "Mobile Broadband Connect" application to proceed further." I've searched - but probably not thoroughly enough - and can't find MBC. Suggestions? Thanks!

I just went through this. I installed the Gobi card and switched from a USB adapter. I ended up having to reinstall several of the drivers manually but I got it to work.

Zaz is right though. Do you have service with Verizon?
