My Lenovo turns itself off during use. It seems to occur when the processor is being used at close to 100%. I have had it looked at by a local tech company and they did not really know how to fix the problem. There is apparently a over heating issue, but the fan is operating correctly and the system has been purged of all malware, etc. by the tech. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Any way to fix this?

Is the air outlet being blocked during usage and have you cleaned it out? A cooling pad might be worth a look.

Download and run HWMonitor. Hopefully your laptop can run long enough to run HWMonitor to verify processor temperatures. Please post back with results.

Also, the fan may be spinning but that doesn't mean it's functioning properly. Check for dust and blockage at the vents and fan.
