Are there any Lenovo laptop models with backlit keyboards?

I am extremely disappointed with my W520, thinking the keyboard was backlit, when it is not. Not a minor problem considering Lenovo sales stated the keyboard was backlit and a feature I need.

Now it seems they were referring to the display being "backlit", not the keyboard.

Why would anyone want a backlit keyboard in the first place?

Are you serious? Am I misusing a word here?

A keyboard that I can actually see in a dimly lit room or sitting on a darkened train would be quite helpful.

The W520, like most ThinkPads, has the ThinkLight. This is a small light in the upper bezel over your screen, which illuminates the keyboard and a bit of the surrounding area too. It's far superior to a backlit keyboard for doing actual work, although to some people it may not look as cool.

You can activate the ThinkLight using the lower-left key (Fn) and upper-right key (PgUp) on your keyboard.

I'm sorry if I sounded rude just now, but I assume you've understood my question, now that you're enjoying the Thinklight? ;)
