I got the drivers from the lenovo site and run the .exe and its errors out. Tried to do it manually and says its not found. Shows as PCI device in device manager. Any idea why it won't install?
Thanks

Did you install it for the appopriate OS?

Yeah, i made sure of that lol. I'm running XP. The error says "Driver installation failed: Could not find modem device for the driver" Which is weird because I see it in device manager.
At first I had problems installing the sound card too. Said HDA driver missing but I ran system update and it seem to solve that problem.
The modem is the only driver that won't install. Really weird. I really dont want to reformat and install windows again.
Any other Ideas?

I have a T61p and I had the same problem. My schools help desk had the fix though. Here's the link:

Thanks but doesn't work because there isn't a modem category. The yellow question mark is under "Other Devices" then "PCI Device"
Oh and i just check the sound. Says sounds device is not found. But doesn't show an error in device manager. -
hi!! I'm having a slightly different problem with my modem driver installation... I recently reformatted my Samsung Sens P55 notebook... Everything goes well with the installation of the xp os, the drivers, but when it comes to the modem driver installation, it's taking like more than an hour an it's still installing!! The message I get is:INSTALLATION MAY TAKE SEVERAL MINUTES, PLEASE WAIT. I don't know if this is normal as I don't want to interrupt the installation process.. pls. pls. can anybody help me?
Modem Will not install on T61?! Any Ideas?
