    Modem driver problem with Lenovo T61 7664 Laptop

    Hi,
    I am facing problem in installing the modem driver on my Lenovo T61 7664 laptop. After installing the software when i click on setup.exe file from the drivers folder, it is prompting with a message "Driver Installation Failed. Could not find the MODEM device for this driver". when this laptop comes with vista business it is working fine. now we have fresh install of xp professional where every think is working fine except the modem driver configuratoin.

    Did you follow the guide in my signature?

    The correct way I found to installing the Modem driver is to install it with the Audio because once you install UAA a "new hardware" prompt will ask you to install the Audio driver and then the Modem.

    So what I would suggest is to uninstall the Audio driver and then install UAA. The rest you can follow these steps:
