I just received a new T61 about a week ago. I am having trouble with modifying the WLAN settings. The box to click on modify WLAN settings... is grayed out and I can't change anything there. Could somebody clue me in as what to do? I tried searching around ThinkVantage Productivity Center but I wasn't able find anything. Thanks.

What are you attempting to change?

Actually I figured out that in order to modify the settings I need to save a profile. Once I did that, the button was no longer grayed out... Still learning here. I'm still confused about what to use to make a connection. Shouls I be using the Windows wireless icon in the tray or the ThinkVantage? I'm not sure if they work together or are working against each other... I seem to make a connection either way once I turn the radio button on in ThankVantage.

I personally just let Windows manage the connection. It does a decent job and it's one less thing to turn on with Windows. Using your notebook on multiple networks is where Access Connections may be more useful.
