I've recently upgraded from 2 gigs to 4 gigs of ram. I figure I need to worry less about having programs running in the background and I kind of wanted to see what temperatures my t61 is running at. What free program would be recommended for this?

"thinkpad fancontrol" but its readings tend to differ with other programs such as "PC Wizard 2008"

Does thinkpad fancontrol work with the t61 and vista? I found older versions of the program and it seems like its made for the T4x series.

Thanks for the link. I DL'ed and installed it. My only issue is that I would like to make it so that the fan runs on the Bios setting and not the TPfancontrol settings. I know you can change it to the Bios settings by yourself, but is there anyway to have it on the Bios settings upon starting it?
