The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    More P-series Processors Coming to Thinkpads T-Series?

    Although this hasn't appeared on Lenovo's regular website yet, the options for the Core 2 Duo P8700 and P9500 are available for the T500 on the CPP website. Don't know if this is a mistake on Lenovo's part, or if this is an indicator that these two processors are coming to the general public soon (last time, the P8700 was offered as a choice for no addition cost over the P8600, an option Lenovo quickly removed - but not after I ordered ;)).

    I didn't see these two processors available for the T400.

    Well they are suppose to be coming to the public soon aren't they? So this isn't super surprising, but of course knowing lenovo they might remove it again...or it is a typo.

    Guess you could call and see.
