This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I recently tried the method found in "How to re-enable the " Factory Restore" option in the "Rescue and Recovery" Pre-Boot environment!!"" However the installer auto re-installed, and no longer give the uninstall option. Each time it starts up a temp file is missing. (The file it ask for doesn't even seem to be a RnR one)

    Read, " How to re-enable the F11 function (Product Recovery Program)," and am now wondering if it'd be more viable to ask Lenovo to send the Rescue and Recovery disc. Has anyone received one from them before? If so, how long did it take to arrive?

    Or does reformatting from the down loadable RnR software on the Lenovo website work?

    Any help would be appreciated.
