I am buying the T61 for college and I am wondering I I wait till July 4th to buy it, in order to get the best deal during a 4th of July sale, will I get it before the middle of August with all this backorder stuff?

100gb 7200 or 120 5400?

Do they offer student discounts?

IS the 14 inch back ordered to?

Can I get it with ultimate 64? If not I have a copy of it so should I just get Vista Basic and upgrade?

I also need a docking station with two video outputs since most of the time I will be using 2 19 inch lcds with my laptop monitor disabled. What is my cheapest option?

Guessing when the lowest price will be is tough. When you think it is low then buy, that's about all you can do.

I personally prefer 7200RPM.

Yes Lenovo does offer student discounts.

I don't think so.

If you already have a copy then you should probably upgrade.

The Advanced Mini Dock has VGA and DVI connectors.

If I put a 64 bit edition of vista on it will any of my drivers not work?

What about any of my programs like ps sony vegas or dvd shrink?
