Looks about right, those pages start coming out a month or so before the release.

Considering it's actually at ibm.com, it probably couldn't get more credible... :)

Weren't people saying they were going to have some more advanced GPU options? It looks like it's only either the GMAX3100 or NVidia Quadro NVS 140M (which sounds like it is around the performance level of the GeForce 7400).

Some interesting things, audio jacks now appear to be on the front, and the IBM logo is now gone, replaced with ThinkPad in the lower right corner.

Actually it seems NVidia Quadro NVS 140M is G86 based (dx 10),so we can expect performance equal to or greater than vanilla 7600..

Ahh, very cool..... I must have mixed it up with something else.

Pretty nice then. Although it sounds like many of the discreet graphics models won't be available til July.

Looks like it says the 14.1" WS model will be offered in WXGA or WXGA+, not WSXGA... Also looks like you'll be able to go super light with a 4-cell coupled to the 14.1" T61..

Just saw this on the IBM site. Why the resolution limit through the DVI?

Video: Digital visual interface (DVI) for digital displays is supported on selected models supported through the optional ThinkPad Advanced Dock, ThinkPad Advanced Mini-Dock, or ThinkPad Essential Port Replicator stations at up to 1600 x 1200, 60 Hz supported resolution.

I am also interested in when the 15.4inch widescreen will be available. 14inch widescreen is kind of on the small side, especially vertically.

also, do you guys see (for both the R61 and T61) on the top frame, a small white icon. that same icon is on my z61t frame, and it indicates a webcam.

do you think that it's just the leftover from a bad photoshop job, or do you think they will offer the webcam as an option?
