The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

I haven't seen the first picture before on this forum so hopefully it isn't a repost. If you look at the URL for the first picture, you'll notice it's from ibm.com. I think this is pretty credible and I wouldn't expect IBM to photoshop it.

I've got to say, I'm still confused about the point of the design......... that is, I don't see what benefit flipping the laptop over like that and having the removable wireless keyboard and trackpad gives you that would be superior or better to just a standard laptop configuration. It seems like more of a hassle to me.

I'm not sure what benefit it has over a tablet configuration either, for that matter.

Either way, as nice as I think this looks, if the price is $5000, it's not really something I'd be thinking of anytime soon anyway.

Not gay, unique. Also gay is a little offensive to some people you know, so stop using it as basic vocab.
