So I'm curious to hear from anyone that's owned both the x100e and a T60. How does performance between the two compare?

People with a x100e and a T61 allowed to chime in?

Sure. I use to own a T61p with the Nvidia quadro 570m. It was a beast.

My T61 graphically sucked. It had the good ol' 140m in it. So in that comparison, they are almost exactly the same. For such a small package the x100e packs a bit of a punch. It has no problem with full HD video and some people have mentioned that they can play cod4 on it. (Lowest res. and settings) My gripe is with the AMD L625. I really wish they would have put an Intel chip in it. The AMD runs far too warm under stress and likes to hog the power. When you compare it to the Intel T8300 in my T61, it feels lack luster.

I still claim that the x100e is a great and fun secondary machine. If you are in the USA they have a sale going on right now in the Lenovo Outlet and they are dirt cheap.

Are you considering buying the x100e or the T60?

Well, I have a T60 I just picked up and it's great. But I was half-way tempted to pick up an x100e, too, and see how I like it. I really shouldn't spend the money, but the compact design is enticing.

As much as I like my T60, it's kind of bulky to take it everywhere all the time.
