For no reason, my mouse stops working now.

I have used this Logitech V200 wireless mouse for a long time. It was working just fine.

I tested a another new Logittech V200 mouse with a pair of new batteries, but it was still not working.

Generic issue or Thinkpad related issue?

    Thanks for any input!

I went to Device Manager and found out the something wrong with the dirver. However, I installed Setpoint 2.3 or 4 and it is still not working. I uninstall driver and reinstall. Same thing. Windows reports that the driver may be missing or corrupted.

How can this be true? I have the mouse installation CD with me.

    Anybody has experence fixing this?

    TIA!!!

Try downloading the driver from the Logitech site, then uninstall/reinstall. I had a problem with the driver for an MX518 and this was how I finally got the mouse to work correctly. The CD just didn't work right.

    More info:

    I always got error message:

A problem occured during hardware installation. Your new hardware may not be working (code 39).

I went to Device manager and always see a warning icon next to "Logitech Cordless USB Device" or a warning icon next to "USB Human Interface Device", both of which are under Human Interface Devices.

    More info:

USB drive still works. I connect my camera to T61 through a USB port and the computer is still able to automatically download all images from the camera.

Based on the above info, anybody sheds some light on what to do next?

    Thanks!!!
