Multiple order confirmations via email

Hi,

I ordered my T400 on 8/23.

This morning on 8/27, I received several order confirmations. They all have the same order number; I only ordered 1 notebook.

Anyone else experiencing something similar this morning?

 

Yep, this same thing is happening to me. I just got my fourth order confirmation e-mail a few minutes ago. I ordered a U330, though. It must be a problem with their (Lenovo's business's) computers.

 

Same here. I hope I don't get charged for all those.

 

Wait.. can't you just look at the email and see if the order# matches? If they are different order#, you will need to take some actions

 

I got 2 e-mails with my T61 order over 3 months ago. The order# was the same on both e-mails. I think it's just a bug on their system, and it seems to be getting worse instead of getting fixed.

Since I'm getting these emails, I'll assume my order is progressing? Anyone know where my laptop might be in the order-build process?

I tried calling Lenovo but between the long hold times, vague responses of a Sept ship date, and the generally lethargic-sounding call staff I decided to give them a break after the 2nd call in 3 days.

 

Somebody's rubbing the turbo button on their email server and it's going into pleasure overload.

 

I just got 4 order confirmation emails for my order placed 8/24. I agree that it is just a bug in their systems.

 

I just got the confirmation order yesterday and I ordered on 8/5. I called 2 times last week and they said my laptop was already being built but people are saying they start building it when you recieve this e-mail so I am a litle worried now

 

Check your account and see if you see a status there. if they shipped it, there should be a link to UPS's tracking system with a tracking number and you will know exactly where it is.
