    Hi,

I'm interested in buying a tablet PC. And the X200 is one of my favorites. But i read in Laptopmag's review that it supports, not like the T400 four finger, only two finger multi touch (Win 7). Now I'd like to know your opinion about this. Do you think that's only a Problem with the driver? At the moment there are no apps, that support more than four fingers (except some touchpack games), but I think there will be a lot of free apps in future.
Do you think, that there will be soon an update for better multi touch? I don't know if there is a good driver support by lenovo (but I know that Asus's driver Support is horrible ;) ). Or is it possible that there are different technologies used for the T400 and X200? I know that nobody here can give me a clear answer, but what do you expect? Tablets like the HP tx2 or the Fujitsu LifeBook support nativ 4 finger multitouch in Win 7 and I read some news, that n-trig is working at a better driver, so that you can use more than four fingers.

Thank you for your answers and sorry for my bad english :) .

I don't expect there to be anything useful needing 4 touch. Two touch is plenty for any realistic application.

I was thinking of gestures like the ones on a macbook touchpad. You can use three and four fingers to start expose or switch between programs (what you do with alt tab).

Do you consider that useful on a tablet screen? I don't see the value in that at all.

It don't has to be always useful, it's nice to have ;) . I think that since Win 7 is on the market, there will be more and more touch apps in future. And maybe there will be some practical apps. And i would find it interesting, if i could have some extra gestures which i could use to quickstart programs.
