Hello, I am in need of help to enable my harddrive Active Protection. When I go under the thinkvantage button and go to the active protection, I cannot change any of the settings and there is nothing in the system tray that says its on. I go to the realtime status and it only shows my computer open with a green triangle but when I tilt my laptop or upside down. it doesn't show anything different. I'm glad I found out about this sooner than later. So if anyone can help me I appreciate it.

FYI: I got the laptop with linux on it but put on XP.

    Thanks for the help!

Is it installed properly? Maybe something got disabled by mistake. Try running system update to see if something needs to be installed.
