So, I have been having the laptop for a while now. But it's GPU overheats and stops in mid gaming. I play Watch Dogs with it. And that happens at least 1 time when I play. I play it on Low Graphics. And it's temparature goes up to 95 celsius. I have heard from my last post if it goes up to 90+ celsius STOP. But it did, and I stopped. But almost every time I play that happens. So I did a check again and for these kind of GPUs without fans it should not reach 100+ celsius. Max is 110.

I have experience GPU frying. And I don't want that to happen again. That's why I need prevention help. Back to the point... Is there any softwares that could stop it's overheating??

I already have Nvidia Inspector, MSI Afterburner and Razer Game Booster. What else do I need??

    Thanks

Are your vents clean and clear? Is the laptop on a hard smooth surface? ie: not carpet or fabric

    Did you overclock your GPU?
Step 1: return back to stock clock speeds.
Step 2: uninstall MSI afterburner and Razer Game Booster.
Step 3: use nvidia inspector to under volt your gt755m (start out with a -50mV setting and test. Reduce further if stable. I run my GT750m at -85mV)
If it still over heats you'll likely need to open it up and repaste the CPU and GPU.

My laptop is 4-5 weeks old. I don't think they are that dirty yet. And yes, my laptop has a hard smooth surface. I don't think I overclocked my GPU. Anyway, I doubt it. When it goes up to 90+ celsius, it will stop it's usage. Which makes my games lag and hang. But now it doesn't really do that anymore ever since I had MSI Afterburner and Nvidia Inspector.

I kinda need Razer Game Booster to well, boost my gaming. Cause without it, it overheats faster. I tried. MSI Afterburner lets me control it's speed. Which allows me to prevent it from overheating.

And how do I under volt my GPU. I don't know how to do that.

So, what I want is to prevent it from going so hot. 90+ celsius is just too close to BOILING POINT. And, I don't want that to happen. Week after week, the temperature increases. That's why I am terrified. All I need is to make it go at least 80+ celsius every time I game. Something to cool it down.

Thanks anyway Jason. You helped a lot! :D

Try to see if this helps. It gets the fan going a bit earlier.

I used it and it worked completely fine! It went up to 92 C only twice and dropped down to 88 C. But the problem was that the fan boost stops and continues constantly usually while gaming...
