So some of you may have seen my threads or posts regarding problems in getting my T400 into sleep or hiberate.
Well after only a 2 minute phone call with Lenovo Tech Support they narrowed it down to a faulty mobo and are sending me a box.
They first asked me to reformat, and I told them I did and still no success. And right after that I was told its a mobo problem and that they'd send me a box; it will get repaired in 3 to 4 days.
Anyone else experience this problem? Apparently theres a problem with power not being transmitted correctly to be able to switch between the different states.

They handle very good. Actually, I sent them to fix my T61's fan and you can just put the date you comfortable to send it.

I just got off the phone with lenovo and they are sending me a box. I would get BSOD's with XP or vista business. I had enough, I paid for ultimate, it crashes first time it was powered up. I call for ultimate recovery, they send me business twice. Business is slow as hell and freezes up almost every time, crashes on a regular basis. I have spent many hours recovering, downloading, drivers etc. Multiple hours on tech line. I hope they get it right and get me the computer I paid for.

got my empty box sent to me already. less than 24 hours!!!

well sent it out Tuesday at 6pm and received it back Thursday at 8am. Thats like less than 48 hours i think. they send them overnight both ways.
anyway, my freakin sleep problem is still here and now i'm assuming its some software conflict that i cant figure out. they replaced my mobo, updated bios, and did some PC diagnostic as stated on this repair sheet here.
edit: actually it does work now. i dont know what i was doing earlier, perhaps it was due to me barely being awake. -
